    The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM or 9:00AM-6:00PM.


    Compensation Range: $17.00 - $21.00/hour depending on education and experience.

    As an Early Childhood Education Teacher, you will:

    • Follow the school curriculum and assessment program, Creative Curriculum by Teaching Strategies.
    • Create and lead additional activities based on your observations of the children’s interests and needs.
    • Professionally communicates and maintains daily reports, confidential and evaluative information with parents/guardians including newsletters, individual parent communication and parent/teacher conferences.
    • Assist with meal service, maintain safety protocols, and keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
    • Collaborate with your fellow Teachers to ensure proper protocols and school policies, procedures and DCYF regulations are being followed.
    • Assistant Teachers will assist the Lead in planning and implementing a daily program that is positive, encouraging and supportive.
    • Participate in a coaching and feedback process with Early Achievers and TCPA administration.
    • May fill-in for other teachers during short-term absences.
    • Maintains a developmentally appropriate classroom including, appearance, décor and cleanliness of site.
    • Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.

    Requirements:

    Candidates must pass required state background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

    • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
    • Early childhood coursework: CDA, ECE degree or state certificate (Initial, Short or State) is not required at this time, however in order to advance to other positions, additional education requirements will need to be completed. Additional information and support is available.
    • This is an entry level position; therefore, experience is a bonus, but it is not required.

    The position is a Full Time, and the shift is Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM.


    Compensation Range: $18.00 - $24.00/hr. depending on experience and education.

    As a School Age Teacher, you will:

    • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and other Teachers to develop lesson plans consistent with the school-age age group.
    • Create and lead additional activities based on your observations of the children’s interests and needs.
    • Professionally communicates and maintains daily reports, confidential and evaluative information with parents/guardians including newsletters, individual parent communication.
    • Assist with meal service, maintain safety protocols, and keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
    • Collaborate with your fellow Teachers to ensure proper protocols and program policies, procedures and DCYF regulations are being followed.
    • School-Age Teachers will assist with planning and implementing a daily program that is positive, encouraging and supportive.
    • Participate in a coaching and feedback process with TCPA administration.
    • May fill-in for other teachers during short-term absences.
    • Maintains a developmentally appropriate classroom including, appearance, décor and cleanliness of site.
    • Assist in planning and implementing a summer program, complete with weekly field trips based on the set weekly themes.
    • Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.
    • Work in other classrooms in a support role giving lunches, breaks and planning time when the school age children are not present.


    Requirements: Candidates must pass required state background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

    • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
    • Early childhood coursework: CDA, ECE degree or state certificate (Initial, Short or State) is preferred, OR be currently enrolled in an ECE program. Transcripts will be required to be submitted upon hire.
    • At least six months of experience working in childcare, daycare, or preschool preferred.
